What is Cavitation?

Ultrasound cavitation is the use of ultrasound technology to break down fat cells below the skin. It is a non-surgical method of reducing cellulite and localized fat. The client will experience an inner ringing in the ear. 

Cavitation devices use ultrasound and RF (radio frequency) technology to break down fat cells in your body. Basically, heat and sound waves are used; they penetrate your skin and then break down the stubborn fat, convert it into small pieces, and then convert it into a liquid substance that then leaves your body mainly through your lymphatic system or your urinary tract. 

How Does Vacuum RF Therapy work?

The Vacuum RF therapy system uses suction and pressure to release the fluids in the fat cells that cause cellulite. Energies create superficial and deep heating of connective tissue fibers, dermal collagen fibers and fat cells. These energies soften the connective tissue and stimulate the production of new collagen for improved skin elasticity and resilience. Vacuum RF therapy can be done over the entire body. Although the most common areas are legs, buttocks, abdomen, and upper arms. Sensational Touch technicians focus on the mid-section (abdomen and waist). 

How Does Radio Frequency Body Contouring Work?

Radio Frequency Body Contouring heats the skin to over 104 degrees, which safely and comfortably minimizes the appearance of cellulite dimpling and fatty bulges, while tightening the skin and improving the contours of the target area. At the deepest level, the RF alters the network of connective tissues that hold the fats cells in place, pulling them closer together so that the cellulite does not bulge out and create the well-known rippling we associate with cellulite. RF also targets the fat cells themselves, causing them to shrink in size, which has the effect of slimming down the target area. 

The Radio Frequency Body Contouring treatment can be done on the abdomen, waist, back, thighs, hips, and upper arms. Duration of a treatment can vary between 30 to 60 minutes.

Can I lose weight with Ultrasound Cavitation?

Ultrasound Cavitation is not a treatment for obesity nor is it a weight loss procedure. It is a method for reshaping and toning the body. It is intended to reduce localized fat tissues around the abdomen, waist, buttocks, thighs, and other areas. 

When will I see results?

The Ultrasound Cavitation treatment will often give immediate, long-lasting results that you can feel, touch, and see. Some clients experience between 1 cm. to 4 cm. of circumference reduction after a single session with increasing results after more visits. Multiple sessions are usually required, generally 1 per week until you've had about 4-10 treatments or more in total. 

What to bring?

Clients are asked to bring an extra set of bra & panties or sports bra and comfortable/loose fitting shorts. Men are asked to bring an extra set of boxers. Bring two towels for the sauna session. The clothing will get wet during the treatment so always bring and extra set to wear home or to work. 

How do I prepare in advance for my treatment?

Please do not eat 2 hours prior to the appointment. Drink plenty of water before and after the treatment. 

Avoid the following the day before and the day of the appointment:

1. Eating dairy products

2. Drinking alcohol

3. Drinking coffee

4. Eating fried or processed foods and red meat

Do and Don'ts After Treatment:

1. No sauna or strenuous exercise

2. Take a shower after 4 to 6 hours

3. Keep warm and do not eat cold or spicy food

4. Drink warm water to replenish moisture and accelerate metabolism
