What is EMS Body Sculpting?

EMS Body Sculpting involves the use of Electrical Muscle Stimulation to induce muscle contractions, enhancing muscle tone, strength, and aiding in body sculpting. How Does EMS work? 

Emsculpt NEO uses the same High–Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) energy of the original muscle building treatment. The difference is Emsculpt NEO combines HIFEM with Radio Frequency (RF) energy. The addition of RF technology enhances the procedure’s fat–reducing effects.

During the 30-minute Emsculpt NEO session, an applicator emits both HIFEM and RF energies. Radiofrequency delivers thermal energy to the tissue, warming up the muscles while heating fat cells. However, within a few minutes, the subcutaneous fat cells start to die, undergoing lipolysis (“lipo” = fat cell + “lysis” = cell death.)

Concurrently, the HIFEM energy penetrates muscle tissues stimulating powerful contractions known as supramaximal contractions. How is the treatment performed?

Emsculpt NEO procedure is simple and easy. There is no pre-preparation required for this procedure. You will lie down while the applicators are applied over the treatment area for 30 minutes. Who is the ideal candidate for EMS Body Sculpting?

It's most effective for clients near their desired shape seeking extra definition, with some reporting results comparable to six months of dieting and exercise. This treatment is ideal for most body types with a BMI of up to 35.  We will work with you to determine whether or not this treatment is right for you. 

What is EMS Body Sculpting used for? 

EMS is used to firm the arms, legs, calves, thighs, buttocks, and abdominal muscles, reshaping the body. At Sensational Touch, our emphasis is on the abdominal muscles. 

EMS treats areas like the abdomen, buttocks, love handles, thighs, legs, and arms to reduce fat and tighten muscle at the same time. The result acts like an intense workout for the target muscles, and, at the same time, its energy disrupts fat cells so the body can remove them from the area. 

Will I lose weight from the treatment?

 EMS is not a weight loss procedure. The therapy helps reduce fat and builds muscles. However, remember that muscle burns more than fat so your increased muscle mass will help your body work more efficiently.  

When will I see results from the treatment?

Most clients see final results approximately four weeks after the last treatment, with optimal outcomes achieved after 4 to 6 sessions. Some results may be visible after the last treatment, but the best results typically appear after multiple sessions.  

A typical treatment plan consists of 4 sessions, spaced 5 to 10 days apart.
